Hi,

I would be very grateful if you could vote for my main blog 'Shibley Rahman' in the Total Politics Blog Awards 2011. I try to keep law and politics separate, but sometimes it is extremely difficult as I am a passionate believer in social justice, and therefore I worry at night about the extent of social law cuts in England for law centres, doing valuable work for example in housing, welfare benefits and immigration.

This blog is only one year old. In its old form, it received zero votes. I do not feel that it had reached its full potential at that stage.

What is responsibility?

I am a member of the World Neuroethics Society, and in fact I am near-ing the end of my Master of Law having already done a Bachelor of Law. My Ph.D. is in neuroscience. This is either a very good recipe for disaster, or a good reason to pursue the law reports and neuroethics just as an entirely non-vocational hobby!
